The Nikon F camera, introduced in April 1959, was Nikons first SLR camera and the first in the long line of the F series. It was one of the most advanced cameras of its day. Although many of the concepts had already been introduced elsewhere, it was revolutionary in that it was the first to combine them all in one camera. You will not need batteries to operate the Nikon F. It is an all-mechanical camera at all shutter speeds. Focusing, of course, is manual but note also that the camera does not have a light meter. This camera as a solid foundation and 100% coverage in the view finder to make shooting distraction free! This historic camera body has a Nikon F-mount for any compatible lens. This 35mm new-to-us camera has been refurbished to live up to it full potential.
